Job Description

The Civic Education Project (CEP), a leadership and civic engagement program at Northwestern University, is NOW HIRING exceptional staff for our Fall 2017 CivicAction program in Chicago (Friday, November 3 – Saturday, November 4, 2017).

CivicAction brings together outstanding middle school students from the western suburbs for an intense two-day service-learning immersion experience in the heart of Chicago.

Lead Facilitator, Assistant Facilitator & Residential Program Assistant positions are available.
Staff receive a cash stipend, room and board, and training in service-learning and experiential education. A limited amount of travel reimbursement is available, though we primarily seek staff members from the Midwest.

Job Type: Part Time

CivicAction staff come from a variety of backgrounds, including outstanding teachers from public and private schools and universities, service-learning practitioners, education, nonprofit and youth development professionals, and exceptional graduate and undergraduate students.

Education Requirement: High School
